Community Boat Days!

Every June we co-host with local municipalities to offer community Boat Days throughout the watershed region. Learn more here....

  • If you've never been on a kayak or canoe and want to try one out - this is the event for you.
  • If you are parents and want a safe way to try paddling with your kids- this event is for you.
  • If you are new to paddling, but want to learn more, this is also the event for you.
  • If you want to learn safety techniques, this is for you.
  • If you are very experienced or just interested.....we can use you as a volunteer to help reach others who are just learning.

All of these are an example of this day that is dedicated to sharing kayak and canoe knowledge, safe paddling techniques, area locations for boat access and other useful information with citizens. We also bring numerous boats for folks to try out on the water in a safe and family friendly environment. The event is free and available to all ages, but parents must accompany minor children.

Be sure and join us at one of the local Boat Day events held annually every June with our local City partners:
