About the Globe Program
Background
The Globe Program (Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment) is a worldwide hands-on, primary and secondary school based science and education program. GLOBE’s vision promotes and supports the collaboration of students, teachers and scientists on inquiry-based investigations of the environment.
GLOBE is an inter-agency program funded by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the National Science Foundation (NSF), supported by the U.S. Department of State. Internationally, GLOBE is a partnership between the United States and over 100 countries who manage and support their unique national and regional program infrastructure and activities.
